Warriors fans around the world have watched countless hours of Steph Curry highlights on Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and everywhere in between. Now, Curry himself has joined the party.
While the NBA season is suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, the two-time MVP jokingly admitted he has been watching his own highlights twice a day.
At least twice a day 😂😂😂— Stephen Curry (@StephenCurry30) March 16, 2020
Curry only has been able to play five games this season due to a fractured left hand, the basic flu and the NBA's recent suspension. After so much time away from the game, he clearly is reeling for any kind of normalcy in his basketball life.
The NBA suspended its season Wednesday night after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus. One day later, commissioner Adam Silver revealed the league likely won't resume play for at least another 30 days.
It now appears the NBA will be on hold for much longer. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Sunday that NBA executives believe the best-case scenario for games to resume is mid-to-late June, with no fans in attendance, after the CDC's latest recommendation of no crowds of 50 or more people for the next eight weeks.
Curry preached for social distancing Sunday to help prevent the coronavirus, and certainly is doing his part during these troubling times.
