"Be back soon!"

Steph Curry included those three words on his Instagram story Thursday afternoon, which pictured him seemingly in good spirits with a cast over his broken left hand.

The Warriors star guard thanked those who offered support in his recovery after he was injured in Wednesday night's 121-110 loss to the Phoenix Suns.

But despite Curry saying he'll return "soon," his prognosis still is up in the air. The two-time NBA MVP underwent a CT scan late Wednesday night and will see specialists to gauge whether or not surgery is needed. The Warriors are expected to provide a timetable for his return Friday.

With or without Curry, the Warriors are in dire straits in their first season at Chase Center. With a 1-3 record, Curry and Klay Thompson injured, and D'Angelo Russell struggling to acclimate to his new digs, it could be a long season in San Francisco.

But here's the question we all want to know: How soon is "soon," Steph?
