Steph gives KAT advice prior to winning 3-Point Contest

There is nobody more qualified to give 3-point shooting advice than Steph Curry.

Prior to Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns winning the NBA 3-Point Contest Saturday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Warriors superstar Steph Curry gave KAT some pointers.

Curry discussed his thought process in the past while grabbing and shooting balls off the rack. Towns then asks "do you look at the rim while you shoot it or do you pick the ball up and look down every time?"

"I shoot it and then when I feel comfortable where it's going (then I look down)."

Steph tells Towns not to rush and that he has plenty of time, which is good advice in a fast-moving competition such as the 3-Point Contest.

The final round consisted of Towns, Atlanta's Trae Young and Los Angeles Clippers guard Luke Kennard.

Curry's advice must have worked because Towns scored 29 points in the final round to win the competition.

Steph, the NBA's all-time leader in 3-point field goals has won the competition twice in his career, most recently in 2021. Alongside fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson, the two have appeared in seven total competitions, while winning three.

If there's any advice you should seek out prior to competing, it's Steph Curry's.
