Steph's bizarre struggle from 3-point land at Lakers continues

Steph Curry is the greatest 3-point shooter in the history of mankind.

Yet even the world's top marksman sometimes struggles from beyond the arc.

And for whatever reason, Curry just does not shoot the ball well from deep when he plays against the Lakers at Staples Center.

Weird, right?

And you can't chalk it up to the venue because the two-time NBA MVP has had some great 3-point shooting performances at the LA Clippers during that timeframe:

-Oct. 30, 2017: 7-for-11

-Jan. 6, 2018: 8-for-16

-April 18, 2019: 4-for-6

Perhaps Curry is impacted by the "Hollywood lighting" that the Lakers use to dim the crowd, which is not in place during Clippers games.

Or it could just be a coincidence. Who knows.

Fortunately for Curry and the Warriors, they play the Lakers just one more time this season and it's at Chase Center on March 15.

So the three-time NBA champion will have to wait until next season to try to fix his woes at Staples Center vs. the Purple and Gold.
