Now, Curry can add another item to his list of accomplishments: passing Wilt Chamberlain to become the Warriors' all-time leading scorer.
With his layup in the first quarter against the Denver Nuggets on Monday night, Curry surpassed Chamberlain's long-standing mark of 17,783 points in a Warriors uniform, which has stood since 1965.
The two could not be more opposite players.
Chamberlain was a beast in the paint. For him, the closer to the basket for better. Curry, on the other hand, thrives from distance. It doesn't matter if he's three feet from the basket of 30. Chances are, it's going in.
To put Curry's new record in perspective, here's a look at three other accomplishments the 33-year-old point guard has achieved in his nine years in the NBA:
Golden State Warriors
Only unanimous MVP in NBA history
Curry's 2015-16 MVP was special for a few reasons, one of them being he became the first player in league history to win the award unanimously, getting all 131 of the available votes.
That season, Curry averaged a career- and league-high 30.1 points and 2.1 steals per game — making him the first player in NBA history to win the scoring title, lead the league in steals per game, and also lead the league in free throw percentage in the same season.
Curry also became the first Warrior to lead the league in scoring since Rick Bary in 1966-67 (35.6 points per game) and joined Barry and Wilt Chamberlain as just the third player in franchise history to average at least 30 points per game in a single season.
His scoring average that year was also the largest increase in points per game from the previous season by a reigning MVP.
The 50-40-90 club in 2015-16
More on those 30.1 points Curry averaged during the 2015-16 season. He did so while shooting 50.4 percent from the field, 45.4 percent from three and 90.8 percent from the free-throw line, making him the first player in the NBA to join the 50-40-90 club while averaging at least 30 points per game in the same season.
It is also the highest scoring average for any player in the 50-40-90 club, and the highest scoring average for a player who led the league in free throw percentage in the same season.
This stat highlights just how accurate, productive and efficient Curry is at his craft.
Fewest games played to reach 2,000 career three-pointers made
It took Curry just 597 games to hit the 2,000 made three-pointers milestone, a whopping 225 fewer than the previous record-holder, Ray Allen.
Curry was also the quickest player to reach 1,000 made threes, which he did in 369 games.
Earlier this season, Curry passed Reggie Miller on the all-time three-pointers made list, and now sits behind just Allen on that list. With 2,709 made threes in his career, Curry is 264 three-pointers behind Allen.
Curry has set the NBA record for threes made in a season on three occasions, and his mark from the 2015-16 season (402) is the current league standard.

More insane 3-point records
- Only player in NBA history to score 50 points and make 10 3-pointers in a single game multiple times, which he has done four times.
