Why Kerr loves Davidson-MSU trash talk between Steph, Draymond

There are two very important basketball games this week for the Warriors.

One is Golden State's marquee matchup against the red-hot Boston Celtics on Wednesday at Chase Center. The other is the matchup between Davidson and Michigan State in the first round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament on Thursday.

As you can imagine, the trash talk has already begun between Steph Curry -- probably the most famous Davidson alum -- and Draymond Green, a former Michigan State Spartan.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr joined 95.7 The Game's "Damon & Ratto" on Tuesday evening, where he was asked which of his players are the most vocal in support of their alma maters.

"You probably hear it the most from Draymond, of course, you hear everything the most from Draymond," Kerr said. "So I'm not sure if that makes him the clear winner. I just am blown away that Davison and Michigan State are playing each other, it's so perfect, it sets up so well for this week for the trash talk between those two. I want to personally thank the committee for providing the Warriors with a lot of entertainment for the first week of the tournament."

The No. 10 seeded Davidson and the No. 7 seeded Michigan State will face off on Friday at 6:40 PM, which just so happens to be an off night for Steph, Draymond and the Warriors.

There is no doubt that each of them will be watching and talking a little trash behind the scenes ... and maybe even online.
