It didn’t take long for Warriors head coach Steve Kerr to make a decision on his favorite Warriors uniforms. The team was just sporting them on Wednesday night in their 108-101 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
“I walked into the locker room last night, the guys were all dressed out in their blues, and I looked at James Wiseman and said, ‘Man, that’s a nice uniform,’ and he said, ‘It sure is.’ He loved it,” Kerr said on 95.7 The Game on Thursday.
The uniforms were the signature blues with the classic “The City” in gold across the front. They were a tribute to the old uniforms when the team originally played in San Francisco before the recent move. This time, they sported a modernized twist with an outline of the Bay Bridge.
“That blue one’s my favorite,” Kerr said. “I love the city logo anyway, but I think we’ve worn the yellow ones in the past, but man those blues are nice.”
NBC Sports Bay Area asked fans what their favorite was, and they chose the "We Believe" uniforms that gave tribute to an iconic 2006-07 team.
Those are fire.
Sometimes you can’t mess with the timeless classics.
