Rozier's buzzer-beater first for CHA vs. Dubs since Dell Curry

Terry Rozier helped the Charlotte Hornets steal a win on Saturday night against the Warriors, nailing a fadeaway 3-pointer as time expired.

It was Charlotte's first game-winning buzzer-beater against the Warriors as a franchise in a long time, and the last Hornet to do so has an interesting connection to the Bay Area.

Dell Curry, the father of Warriors star Steph, knocked down this 3-pointer in 1989 to seal a win over the Warriors.

Steph was a late scratch from Saturday night's game, as he was not "feeling well" according to Warriors PR.

The Warriors had a lead late, but after Draymond Green was ejected with nine seconds remaining and Charlotte knocked down a pair of technical free throws to tie the game, Rozier nailed the jumper to secure the victory.

Dell, who now is an analyst on Hornets broadcasts, likely would have liked to see his son play live, but at least can be happy that his team came out on top.
