Unique reason Moody can't wait to play with Draymond

At this point, it's a tired narrative. Some see Draymond Green as being difficult to play with due to his infamous time as Kevin Durant's teammate and his clear frustrations with teammates on the court at times.

Can young players like James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody be able to play with Green, and everything he brings?

Many younger players in the NBA, especially scorers, would love to play with Green. He's one of the best passers in the league and his court vision for his size makes him extremely unique. For Moody, the Warriors' No. 14 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, it's something else. It's what we all think would scare off rookies.

Moody wants Green's passion, he wants the 31-year-old, three-time champion to unleash his famous outbursts on him. He isn't running from the volume, he's inviting it

"Honestly, I'm extremely excited," Moody said Tuesday morning on 95.7 The Game's "Morning Roast." "That's probably the -- not to say the player I'm looking forward to most, but I'm really excited to be his rookie. I'm from Little Rock. I got a lot of old heads in my family. I'm not for all the sugar coating. I'd rather have somebody who's gonna cut it to me straight.

"I feel like he's a real dude, real authentic dude who's gonna be able to do that and have love behind it."

Moody is just 19 years old with just 32 college games to his name before trying to find his role on a veteran-led Warriors squad. He showed during Summer League his game is advanced and mature. He doesn't play like a rookie.

And he doesn't have the mindset of one either.
