Wanda Durant doubles down on critics questioning her son Kevin's character

Kevin Durant's mother, Wanda, didn't hold back the support she has for her son when he hit the ground and clutched his leg in agony during Game 5 of the NBA Finals with what was feared to be a ruptured Achilles tendon.

She especially didn't hold back during the aftermath, she called out those who had criticized KD and questioned his integrity.

Her message continued Wednesday during an interview with Robin Roberts on "Good Morning America," where Wanda once again responded to her son's critics -- and this time around, she could barely hold back the tears:

You could see the emotion on Mama Durant's face as she went on to reflect on those who have questioned him.

She admitted at the beginning she tried to keep herself out of all the talk, but people saying KD "faked" a recent injury is what put her over the top -- especially because she believed these accusations were questioning who Kevin was as a person.

"I know that's not who my son is."

She did acknowledge the fans who reached out sending prayers and noted she appreciates their support as well.

Still, you don't mess with Mama Durant.
