Warriors' 2018 NBA championship rings feature reversible top, bling
The Warriors received their championship rings Tuesday night to commemorate their 2017-18 NBA title. Let's look at some of the cool features on Golden State's jewelry.
The two trophies signify the Warriors' last two championships. The 2017 and 2018 trophies are made of different amounts of gold and white diamond: 17kt gold and .17 white diamond for the former, 18kt gold and .18cts for the latter. The 74 sapphires symbolize the team's total wins in the 2018 playoffs and regular season.
The team side
On this side of the ring, the Warriors pay tribute to their time in the Bay Area. It features 56 stones to comemorate the number of years the team has played in Northern California.
The player side
Who says the regular season doesn't matter? It certainly did to the ring designers at Jason of Beverly Hills, as the ring features 58 stones to commemorate each of Golden State's 58 regular-season wins.
Get it twisted
The ring also features a twist-off top, and removing it reveals the "Strength in Numbers" slogan. The top of the ring also is reversible.
How the other half (of the ring) lives
This is what the ring looks like with the diamond side. It, too, features 74 diamonds to symoblize the team's combined win total from last season.
