Andre Iguodala is back.
The three-time NBA champion will sign a one-year veteran's minimum contract with the Warriors.
So Iguodala will play for Golden State during the 2021-22 season.
Will the 37-year-old also suit up for the Warriors in 2022-23?
“I think I’ve got some more time left,” he told The New York Times' Jonathan Abrams, who broke the news of Iguodala's return to Golden State. “Where I’m comfortable at is I can decide when I’m ready to go. I think I want to leave with just a little bit left. I don’t want to go out on one leg.
"I know I’ve got a few more years. It’s just my decision whether it’s one or two or three or whatever it may be. I shouldn’t even say three. One or two.”
A lot can change in a short amount of time, so who knows what Iguodala will decide in one year.
And who really cares about that right now.
What matters is that the 2015 NBA Finals MVP has reunited with the franchise he joined in July 2013.
