Warriors' Bradley makes bold claim about his on-ball defense

The Warriors' defense could be getting a boost this season from one of their newest players.

After signing veteran Avery Bradley last week, the 30-year-old guard will compete for the 15th and final spot on Golden State's roster.

A two-time All-Defensive player (2012-13, 2015-16), Bradley remains very confident in his ability on the defensive side of the ball.

Bradley's comment was prompted by similar praise from Warriors coach Steve Kerr earlier on Tuesday.

If he's able to play at or near the level of one of the best on-ball defenders in the league, Bradley might end up being found money for the Warriors this season.

It begs the question though, if his (and Kerr's) evaluation of himself is accurate, how come Bradley remained unsigned for so long?

Bradley likely will compete alongside Gary Payton II for the Warriors' final roster spot.
