Sunday night went very well for the Warriors.
Not only did they beat the Hornets by 47 points, but the Nuggets lost a home game to the lottery-bound Wizards. As a result, Golden State leads Denver by one game heading into the showdown on Tuesday night at Oracle Arena.
Additionally, the Warriors claimed their fifth straight Pacific Division title.
And last but not least, they made some NBA history.

With six games left in the regular season, the Warriors have the opportunity to stretch the new five-year record to 323Â wins.
That is unlikely to happen, however, because if the Dubs the Nuggets on Tuesday night and wrap up the No. 1 seed soon thereafter, Steve Kerr surely will rest some guys over the final few games.
But based on the Warriors' wavering motivation level during the regular season, anything can happen down the stretch.
