Warriors guard Steph Curry made the 1,246th 3-pointer of his career Saturday night to move into 42nd place on the all-time list of 3-pointers made.

Curry entered the game three treys behind his father, who finished his 16-year career with 1,245 3-pointers.

Curry’s milestone shot came with 3:13 left in the third quarter. It pulled the Warriors within three, 71-68.

Curry tied his father with 3:09 left in the first half, when the reigning MVP drained a rainbow from the top of the arc.

Curry ranks 13th among active players, as Rockets guard Jason Terry (2,080) is first on that list and third on the all-time list.
