The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at noon PT.

Warriors guard D'Angelo Russell is well aware of that fact, as the basketball world has been discussing his future with Golden State from the very moment he was acquired in a sign-and-trade transaction in July.

And the noise is everywhere right now.

"I can’t get away from it," D-Lo told Anthony Slater of The Athletic on Monday night. "You go on social, you see it. You go on TV, you hear it. You talk to the media, they ask you about it. Ain’t no getting away from it. But it is what it is.

“It bothered me when we were further away from (the deadline). But when we’re closer to it really happening, I’m numb to it. I’m just expecting a phone call. Let me know.”

Up until the last couple of days, all indications pointed to the Warriors keeping Russell beyond the Feb. 6 deadline.

But the Minnesota Timberwolves deperately want to acquire him, so Golden State is listening intently.

Russell -- who is averaging 23.8 points and 6.3 assists, while shooting over 38 percent from deep on nearly 10 attempts per game -- just wants a resolution.

“I’m ready for war,” he told Slater. “Let’s get it. I’m ready for it. I don’t have no feelings toward it. I’m just ready for whatever happens.”
