OAKLAND -- Draymond Green generally avoids postgame critiques of officials, saying he wants to keep his cash. He said nothing Tuesday night after the Warriors’ 125-105 loss to Oklahoma City but still has to pay up.

Green was fined $50,000 for “directing inappropriate and offensive language toward a game official,” the NBA announced Thursday afternoon.

After being hit in the mouth during a collision with Thunder guard Russell Westbrook the final seconds of the first half, Green couldn’t contain his anger. The fine is the result of language directed at official Lauren Holtkamp.

Holtkamp issued the technical foul as the teams headed for the locker room. Though Green was pointing to mouth, where a front tooth was knocked backward, still have a few choice words for Holtkamp.

The Warriors were slapped with five technical fouls in the game, with two assessed to Green resulting in automatic ejection. Lead official Ken Mauer whistled the second technical foul with 8:13 remaining.

Green leads the NBA in technical fouls with 13. Should he reach 16 in the regular season, he will serve a mandatory one-game suspension.
