Warriors go nuts after trainer Lam sinks half-court shot

Warriors

This is one of those “if he can do it, why can’t I?” kind of moments. Especially with the reaction from the Warriors.

One of the team’s trainers, Long Lam, drained a shot from half court Wednesday at Moda Center and the Warriors went absolutely insane for it.

The team was having a shootaround before their game against the Portland Trail Blazers when Lam shot his shot.

Imagine if that was during one of the halftime performances. Lam could have won so much money, or a car … or anything. Instead, he earns the respect from the team.

You could see Jordan Poole and Juan Toscano-Anderson celebrating it all -- just absolutely stoked for Lam.

The Blazers host the Warriors Wednesday as they try to slow down Steph Curry, who is averaging 29.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game heading into the matchup. But you’re also going to be able to see the duel between Steph and Damian Lillard, which tends to be must-see TV.

They’re both great, for the record.

Let’s just hope Lam doesn’t take too much of the spotlight away.
