Warriors grind out win over Pelicans in Game 2
The Warriors got off to a rough start in the first quarter against the Pelicans. Eric Gordon scored 11 points and made all three of his attempts from beyond the arc to push the Pelicans to a 28-17 advantage after 12 minutes.
Davis continues to score
Anthony Davis picked up where he left off from Game 1 and finished the first half with 14 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Warriors were down by as much as 13 in the first half, but they rallied back with a 38-point second quarter to take a 55-52 lead into halftime. Golden State went on a 17-5 run to end the half.
Taking the lead
Stephen Curry hit a three in the final seconds of the first half to give the Warriors a 55-52 lead at halftime. Curry ended the half with 16 points and two assists.

Leandro Barbosa stepped up for the Warriors in Game 2 scoring 12 points to lead all bench players.
Speights raises game
Marreese Speights provided a spark on both sides of the ball against the Pelicans and finished with five points, four rebounds and two blocks in the Warriors' 97-87 win over the Pelicans.
Klay shines in fourth
Klay Thompson scored 14 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter and helped lead the Warriors on a 9-1 run with 4:43 left in the final quarter to seal the win.
