For the second time in seven years, the Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies will meet in the Western Conference semifinals.
The Grizzlies beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-106 in Game 6 of their first-round NBA playoff series Friday night at Target Center, setting up the clash with the No. 3 seeded Warriors, who beat the Denver Nuggets in five games in the first round.
With Memphis holding home-court advantage as the higher seed, Game 1 of the series between the Warriors and Grizzlies is set for Sunday, May 1 at FedExForum.

The Warriors lost three of the four regular-season matchups against the Grizzlies, but Klay Thompson had yet to return from a 31-month injury absence when the two teams met on Oct. 29 (Grizzlies' overtime win) and Dec. 23 (Warriors' win), Draymond Green was out for the Jan. 11 game (Grizzlies' win) and Steph Curry missed the final meeting on March 28 (Grizzlies' win).
Curry, Thompson and Green all are healthy for the second-round series, though the Warriors might not have veteran forward Andre Iguodala for the first few games.
With Jordan Poole's emergence, Golden State will get a chance to unleash their new Death Lineup on the Grizzlies for the first time.

The Warriors are out for revenge after the Grizzlies ended Golden State's season in the Western Conference play-in tournament last year.
The only other playoff meeting between the two franchises happened in 2015 during the Warriors' first of five straight NBA Finals appearances. Memphis took a two-games-to-one lead, but Golden State, the top seed that year, won the next three games and eventually went on to win the organization's first championship in 40 years.
The winner of the Warriors-Grizzlies series will take on the winner of the matchup between the No. 4 seed Dallas Mavericks and the No. 1 seed Phoenix Suns.
