With Andre Iguodala ruled out, the Warriors are short-handed for Game 4 against the Trail Blazers on Monday night, which will inevitably force coach Steve Kerr to utilize some of his players in ways he wouldn't typically otherwise.

One of those decisions was made midway through the first quarter, when Kerr elected to replace Alfonzo McKinnie on the court with rookie Jacob Evans.

Evans checked in for McKinnie -- who made his first career playoff start -- with 3:23 remaining in the first frame and the Warriors trailing 30-28. He played the duration of the quarter, which came to a close with Golden State leading 36-35.

It was Evans' first opportunity to play in Western Conference finals and his first minutes since the first round.
