Warriors' Jacob Evans ruled out vs. Pelicans with left adductor strain

Another game, another injury.

The Warriors received more bad news Monday when guard Jacob Evans was ruled out for the remainder of the game against the Pelicans in the first half with a left adductor strain. It's particularly poor timing for the Louisiana native.

Golden State already was without Klay Thompson (torn ACL) and Willie Cauley-Stein (foot), and Kevon Looney (hamstring) didn't join the team for the current road trip. The Warriors really can't afford to lose another rotation player, so they have their fingers crossed that Evans' injury isn't serious.

Despite playing short-handed, the Warriors went into halftime holding a 72-57 lead over the Pelicans.
