Wiseman joins Klay, signs shoe deal with apparel company Anta

Warriors

James Wiseman and Klay Thompson now have another thing in common outside of sharing a locker room at Chase Center. The Warriors rookie has joined apparel company Anta according to ESPN's Nick DePaula, the same company headlined by Thompson.

According to DePaula, Wiseman will be an integral part of the brand's new "Z-Up" line of shoes.

On Anta's website, Wiseman already has one shoe available, the KT5 Pro "Wave."

Wiseman has lived up to the billing after being the No. 2 overall pick by the Warriors in the 2020 NBA Draft, putting up some per-36 minute numbers on par with some of the NBA's best big men.

Despite missing most of Warriors training camp and 11 games in February after spraining his wrist, Wiseman has shown off a well-rounded offensive and defensive game that has the organization thrilled about his future prospects.

Perhaps we'll see some commercials featuring Klay and Wiseman in the coming years.
