Wiseman reveals his plans for time off during All-Star break

There will be an actual NBA All-Star weekend this season which means Warriors rookie James Wiseman has to figure out what to with the break.

He told reporters Thursday night after the Warriors lost to the Phoenix Suns that he can't wait for his mom's cooking.

He also plans to indulge in some In-N-Out … well, more In-N-Out.

“Also just venture out,” Wiseman said on the latest Rookie Diary interview with The Undefeated. “Go to places like Alcatraz Island, some of the beaches out here, you know -- just simple stuff like that, I’m a simple guy.”

Wiseman also opened up to The Undefeated about his recent wrist injury.

The rookie landed on his arm awkwardly during an alley-oop attempt at the end of January against the Detroit Pistons. And while he was frustrated he missed time, he adjusted. Even if his journaling and teeth brushing weren’t as easy to do as usual.

If Wiseman still wants to watch some of the All-Star activities, he will be able to see his teammate Steph Curry participate in the 2021 NBA 3-Point Contest before the actual game on Sunday takes place.

You know that’ll be fun, especially with a double-double in your hand.
