Much was made of the luxury tax number the Warriors will pay as a result of acquiring Kelly Oubre Jr. this offseason and absorbing his salary with the Traded Player Exception.
Oubre is off to a historically bad shooting start in his first two games with the Warriors, becoming the first NBA player to start a season 0-for-11 or worse from 3-point range over two games, per ESPN Stats and Info.
He went 0-5 from downtown in the Warriors' 138-99 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas Day, after missing all six of his attempts in the opening-night loss to the Brooklyn Nets.

The Warriors are 20-78 from 3-point range so far this season, so the problem isn't solely Oubre's. Steph Curry, one of the NBA's best shooters of all time, is just 4-20.

Rookie James Wiseman is the lone bright spot from downtown, making four of his five attempts.
Oubre shot 35.2 percent on over five attempts a game last season from three, so it's not hard to imagine that this is something the 25-year-old can rectify.
