As the global coronavirus pandemic continues, we all should be taking a step back to thank the heroes who have spent hours upon hours in hospitals to save lives. Warriors superstar Klay Thompson did exactly that on Monday morning.
Thompson took to Twitter to thank first responders, nurses, doctors and hospital staff for their efforts in helping those who have been dealing with the virus.

This comes just days after the three-time NBA champion made sure his 1.3 million Twitter followers were as informed as possible on the coronavirus. Thompson tweeted out the official website for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to give facts to as many people as possible.

While light moments like Steph Curry drinking wine through a makeshift mask help, Warriors players and the NBA alike have stepped up in this time of crisis. Thompson won't play a single minute this season, even if the NBA resumes its play, but he still is finding ways to contribute to a much more important win.
