There hasn't been a lot of good news for the Warriors early on this season.
The five-time defending Western Conference champions have opened the season 2-8 and currently sit at the bottom of the Western Conference. Head coach Steve Kerr has been saddled with a roster of made up of mainly rookies and reclamation projects with Steph Curry (broken hand), Klay Thompson (torn ACL) and Draymond Green (torn finger ligament) all being sidelined.
The Warriors recently got D'Angelo Russell back after the star guard missed a few games with an ankle issue and it looks like more positive news is on the horizon ahead of Monday night's game against the Utah Jazz at Chase Center.

Green, who has missed the last five games, is listed as probable by the team and is trending toward playing, The Athletic's Anthony Slater reported.
Breakout rookie Eric Paschall, who missed the Warriors' loss to the Thunder on Saturday with a hip injury, also is listed as probable.

Golden State Warriors
After years at the top, the Warriors have entered a transition year. Kerr and the staff will get a good long look at all of the young players and be able to make an honest evaluation going forward.
Even without Curry, Thompson and Green, the Warriors have proven to be a young, energetic and frisky team, and the return of Green should give them a little more punch as they face Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz.
