In essentially a must-win Game 2 of the NBA Finals at Chase Center on Sunday night, the Warriors caught a pair of breaks in the first half against the Boston Celtics.
On two separate occasions, Jordan Poole and Draymond Green were in danger of being assessed technical fouls, but upon review, the game officials decided against penalizing the Warriors' stars.
Poole's incident occurred after he had a driving layup blocked by Celtics guard Derrick White. Poole fell to the floor on the play and as White tried to get back on offense, he attempted to jump over Poole.

The Warriors' guard put his arms up to protect himself and White fell to the floor. In the moment, Poole was given a technical foul, but upon review, the referees rescinded the penalty.
Towards the end of the first half, Green committed a personal foul on Celtics star Jaylen Brown and the two players got tangled up. They had to be separated and the officials again used replay to review what happened.

This could have been devastating news for the Warriors since Green already had picked up a technical foul earlier in the game for a tussle with Grant Williams.
Luckily for Green and the Warriors, the referees deemed that no technical fouls should be handed out for the incident with Brown.
Poole, Green and the Warriors took a 52-50 lead into the locker room at halftime.
