Warriors rout Grizzlies in Game 1
Testing it out
Point guard Mike Conley warmed up prior to Game 1, but was ruled out due to facial fractures. Conley missed the final two games of the Grizzlies-Trailblazers series in the previous round because of the injury.
Draymond Green starred in the first quarter scoring 11 points as the Warriors took a 32-25 lead over the Grizzlies.
Golden State used excellent passing in the first half with 17 assists on 24 field goals to help expand on their lead and shot 61 percent from the field.
Up at half
The Warriors took a 61-52 lead into halftime over the Grizzlies. Draymond Green and Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 11 and 12 points respectively.
Coming out strong
The Warriors raced out of half with an 11-4 run and controlled the entire third quarter. Golden State took an 83-66 advantage over Memphis into the fourth.
The Warriors had no trouble closing out the Grizzlies in the fourth quarter and cruised to a 101-86 victory. Memphis only scored 34 points in the second half.
Harrison Barnes scored 11 points, grabbed three rebounds, dished three assists and went 4-of-4 from the field in the win.
