The Warriors shot 7 of 29 from 3-point range in their Oct. 21 road loss to the Denver Nuggets.

They fared much better Tuesday night at Pepsi Center -- in the first quarter alone.

The Warriors set multiple new franchise records against the Nuggets in a blistering first quarter that came to a close with the Dubs leading 51-38.

Golden State shot 10 of 14 from beyond the arc in the opening quarter, establishing a new franchise record for the most 3-pointers in a single quarter. Additionally, the 51 points were the most the Warriors have ever scored in the first quarter.

Stephen Curry led the way with four treys, while Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant each added three apiece.

The Warriors entered the game with the fourth-best 3-point shooting percentage in the NBA, and might be moving even further up that list after the first quarter Tuesday.
