Warriors set prestigious NBA Finals record in Game 4

The Warriors on Friday defeated the Cavs in Game 4 and took a 3-1 NBA Finals lead.

Stephen Curry led the way with a game-high 38 points.

En route to the victory, the Warriors drained 17 3-pointers, which is the most in the history of the NBA Finals.

Curry (7), along with Klay Thompson (4), Harrison Barnes (4) and Andre Iguodala (2) accounted for all 17 treys.

Golden State surpassed the previous record set by the San Antonio Spurs in 2013 against the Miami Heat.

The 2016 Warriors are also third in the category, making 15 against the Cavaliers previously in the series.
