The basketball world is very focused on what the Warriors will do in next week's NBA draft.
Golden State possesses the rights to the No. 7 and No. 14 overall picks, but could end up trading one or both selections.
Several mock drafts have the Warriors taking James Bouknight at No. 7. And two updated versions Wednesday -- from The Athletic's Sam Vecenie and Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman -- have the Dubs going with Chris Duarte at No. 14.

It just so happens that The Ringer's Bill Simmons and Ryen Russillo talked about those two prospects on the most-recent episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast.
Russillo: "Bouknight is the hottest name in the draft. It's unbelievable. Every time I talked to a team, it would just be like, 'You know who I love -- Bouknight. You know who is nasty -- Bouknight.' And I get it."
Simmons: "I think the Warriors are gonna take him at No. 7."
Russillo: "I even had one team that was like, 'He might go No. 5."'There is a toolbox of offensive moves from this kid. With space and better players ... you can't stay in front of this guy."

The conversation soon pivoted to Duarte.
Russillo: "I don't know that I watched a kid that was as engaged every single possession as much as Duarte was. Every f--king possession that kid competed."
Simmons: "So if Golden State ended up with Bouknight and Duarte at No. 7 and No. 14, are they better next year?"
Russillo: "Yeah, because I think both guys can play."
Simmons: "I don't know why I'm so invested in Golden State. I just love Steph [Curry]."
It's safe to assume that if this actually comes to fruition, the Warriors will receive strong grades from the draft analysts and evaluators.
But the reality is that those marks don't matter whatsoever because it's anybody's guess how the prospects will pan out. In many cases it takes several years to fairly judge these sorts of things.

In any event, Bouknight and Duarte are very intriguing.
"I'm a hard worker. That's my mentality -- outworking everybody," Duarte told ESPN's Mike Schmitz. "They can talk about my age and this and that. Hey man -- everybody's got a different path. I had to go to JUCO for two years, I had to reclassify a year in high school because I came here without knowing the language.
"I'm here and I'm ready. And I know I can bring a lot of stuff to the table."
