Steph Curry knows a thing or two about the challenge of winning back-to-back titles.
So when the United States Women's National Team knocked off the Netherlands to win back-to-back Women's World Cup titles for the first time ever Sunday, of course he reached out to congratulate them.
That's USWNT defender and fellow Under Armour athlete Kelly O'Hara pictured with Curry. She appeared in five matches throughout the tournament and totaled two assists.
Curry wasn't the only one impressed, as countless celebrities and prominent sports and political figures reached out to congratulate the USWNT for its massive achievement.
Yes! Fourth star. Back to back. Congrats to the record breakers on the @USWNT, an incredible team that’s always pushing themselves—and the rest of us—to be even better. Love this team. #OneNationOneTeam— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) July 7, 2019
The US women’s soccer team are the world champions! I’m so happy. These women are the best of what our country represents. You’re welcome on my show any time. My World Cup runneth over. @USWNT #USA #FIFAWWC— Ellen DeGeneres (@TheEllenShow) July 7, 2019
