Warriors' Steph Curry describes his favorite part of new Curry 7 shoes

Steph Curry is a family man at his core. And that's why the Warriors superstar incorporated his three kids into his new "Curry 7 UNDRTD" shoes.

In the most recent edition of Bleacher Report's "Unboxed" series, the two-time NBA MVP explained how Riley, Ryan and Canon are part of the kicks:

"My favorite part of the shoe -- on the back there's a pulltab and it has monikers of my three kids. From my oldest, the horse, to my middle child is our butterfly, and then the son bringing up the rear -- we call him young wolf.

"Obviously, very personal to me and a pretty cool discoverable that I think will be great for our family, but (also) for anybody who wants to know a little bit about what makes me tick and what's important to me."

This is awesome.

The shoes officially are on sale now. Unfortunately for Curry, he won't be wearing them Friday night when the Warriors face the Spurs because he's sidelined for at least three months with a broken left hand.

NBA rumors: Warriors' Steph Curry to return March 1 against Wizards

The guessing game finally is over.

Warriors supertar Steph Curry will make his return to game action this Sunday against the Washington Wizards, league sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The two-time NBA MVP broke his left hand Oct. 30 against the Phoenix Suns.

He underwent surgery Nov. 1, and had a second procedure in early December to have pins removed.

The three-time NBA champion still is dealing with some nerve damage.

"I'm getting used to what a new normal is," Curry told reporters Saturday after practice. "It definitely feels different than then right but you try to get to a point to when you're actually playing basketball, you don't think about it.

"Whether it feels all the way the same or not, that really doesn't matter. it's just as long as I'm not worried about the things I have to do, the strength part of it and how it bounces back the next day after pushing it."

It's unclear if Curry will be on any sort of minutes restriction, or if he will play in every remaining game.
