Steph Curry appeared to channel a former Warriors point guard in celebrating a late 3-pointer against the Memphis Grizzlies in Sunday's regular-season finale from Chase Center.
Baron Davis famously did the same move with his jersey after his iconic dunk over Andrei Kirilenko in the 2007 NBA Playoffs.
Davis shouted Steph out after Sunday's big win.
Steph ended up with 46 points and nine assists, overcoming a slow start to light up the scoreboard in the second half.
The Warriors clinched the No. 8 seed with the victory, and will face either the Los Angeles Lakers or Portland Trail Blazers in the play-in tournament on Wednesday.
Davis and the "We Believe" Warriors also were the No. 8 seed in the 2007 playoffs, before they knocked off the top-seeded Dallas Mavericks.
Perhaps Curry can channel that energy into Wednesday's matchup, too.
