Steph sets record for most 3-pointers in a calendar year

Warriors

As 2021 came to an end, Steph Curry had to go out with a bang.

The Warriors star broke yet another NBA record for most 3-pointers in a calendar year in NBA history.

Just last month, Steph broke Ray Allen’s record for most career threes.

He also became the first player ever with 3,000 triples.

And Steph currently holds the NBA’s record for most consecutive games with at least one made 3-pointer.

But for Curry, it doesn’t end there.

The sharpshooter’s 507 threes in 91 games played in 2021 surpassed his previous record (468) from 2016.

Curry shot 47 percent from the field, 42 percent from 3-point range and 91 percent from the free-throw line during the 2021 calendar year.

It was certainly an eventful 2021 for Steph, and now we wait and see what 2022 has in store for the 3-point king.
