Warriors' Stephen Curry to star in Facebook Watch series documenting his life

Fans are about to witness a glimpse in the life of two-time MVP Stephen Curry.

Well, calling it a "glimpse" might be a bit of an understatement. This Facebook Watch original series will give viewers the ins and outs of what makes Curry -- Curry:

Steph's company, SC30 Inc., that he formed in June of last year, tweeted out the video that shows some old footage of Curry as a baby. The teaser, from "Stephen vs The Game," also shows some behind-the-scenes clips of him working out and spending time with his family.

The documentary series will also represent the Warriors' star's social media following, and "empire" as the Washington Post refers to it.

The director, Gotham Chopra, got roughly 60 to 70 hours of raw footage for the series and will compress that into multiple, 15 minute-long episodes. And even though the subjects of the series have star qualities of their own, he noted they were just like a regular family.

"There was a normalcy to it,” Chopra said. “Like he and his wife are just grasping what has happened to them in the past few years. It’s this moment where you’re drinking wine and it feels very normal, except there are these three NBA championship rings on the table.”

The series will air this spring on the Facebook Watch, the platform's demand video service.
