Warriors

BOX SCORE

OAKLAND - Following a successful road trip, the Warriors followed through on a goal they've claimed to strive for much of the season: Sustaining a consistent effort at home.

In Thursday's 112-89 demolition of Indiana, the Warriors set the tone, outshooting, outrebounding and outplaying the Pacers, earning their second straight win and fourth in their last fifth games.

Here are the three takeaways from the blowout win:

Boogie Nights ... at Oracle?

Last week in Houston, Cousins tried to find the words to explain why he couldn't muster a solid scoring performance at Oracle Arena. On Thursday, he found the remedy, finishing with 19 points and 11 rebounds in 26 minutes.

He got his work done early, scoring 13 points and adding seven boards in the first half, looking every bit of the center the rest of the league feared he'd be when he signed last summer.

Defense travels home

The Warriors seemed to bring their defense back home from the road, holding the Pacers to just 38.5 percent from the field, including 26.1 from 3-point range.

For much of the season, the Warriors have been asleep on the defensive end - a byproduct of complacency. However, they've turned it on in the last week, and hopefully, for their sake, they can keep this momentum going.

Turnovers

In one of the few blemishes of the night, the Warriors finished with 16 turnovers.

The biggest culprit of the night was Kevin Durant, who finished with four.

It wasn't enough to lose the game, but should be enough to draw Steve Kerr's ire when its time to watch the film.
