Big third from Wiggins, Oubre gets attention of Dubs Twitter

The Warriors came out of the locker room for the third quarter facing a 13-point deficit against the Orlando Magic on Friday night.

Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr. changed that, combining for a monster third period.

Oubre Jr., a favorite punching bag for Warriors Twitter, played the entire 12 minutes and went 6-of-10 for 13 points. He was constantly running and converted several fastbreak layups, including the one that gave the Warriors their first lead of the game.

Wiggins played just over seven minutes in the third quarter, but he was a perfect 5-of-5 from the field and finished with 12 points.

Combined with 10 points from Steph Curry in the third quarter, the Warriors outscored the Magic 43-29 in the period and took a one-point lead into the fourth quarter.

Warriors Twitter was impressed with the play of Wiggins and Oubre Jr. in the third quarter.

For as good as Wiggins and Oubre were in the third quarter, they couldn't replicate it in the final period. Wiggins didn't score in the fourth and Oubre Jr. managed just one point as the Warriors blew a big lead and lost 124-120 to the Magic to begin the road trip.
