After four NBA Finals battles and countless regular season matchups, Warriors guard Steph Curry and Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James will be teammates for the first time this Sunday.

With the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 NBA All-Star Game draft, James selected Curry from the starters' pool.

The two NBA icons are forever linked because of the four straight NBA Finals matchups between the Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers from 2015 through 2018. Also, Curry and James both were born in Akron, Ohio four years apart.

After watching Curry and James go head-to-head since 2009, NBA fans get to watch Chef Curry and King James play with each other.

Incidentally, Curry will also be All-Star Game teammates with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. So while the two-time reigning NBA MVP won't be joining the Warriors after signing a max contract extensionย with the Bucks, he still will get to play with Curry on Sunday.

James, Curry and Antetokounmpo will be joined in the starting lineup by Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic.

Here's how Warriors fans reacted to James drafting Curry for the 2021 NBA All-Star Game, which will take place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

With James' career winding down, this might be our only chance to see him play with Curry in an All-Star Game, so enjoy the show Sunday. There are sure to be several highlight-reel plays between the two stars.
