But that's the reality the 16-14 Warriors face.
While Curry scored 29 points and Kelly Oubre Jr. had an impressive game with 26 points, the Magic were powered by 28 points from Evan Fournier and a remarkable triple-double from Nikola Vucevic.
The Warriors had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but Draymond Green passed up an open 3-pointer, deferring to a Curry 3-pointer, which he missed, sealing Golden State's fate.
The loss didn't sit well with Warriors Twitter.
The Warriors have yet to win three straight games this season, failing to build any momentum.

While Curry and Green remain from the Warriors' five straight NBA Finals appearances, this largely is a new team that is learning how to close out and win games.
Friday's loss will leave a bitter taste in the mouths of the Warriors' players and coaches. The good news is that they get right back on the horse as they take on the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night.
