Warriors unveil ‘Moments Mixtape' City Edition uniforms

The Warriors have another new uniform.

The Warriors on Monday morning unveiled their "Moments Mixtape" City Edition uniform for the 2021-22 NBA season. As the NBA celebrates its 75th anniversary, Golden State's new uni is meant to honor the franchise's history.

It might not be obvious to the eye at first glance but the uniform is filled with subtle ways to celebrate iconic teams, moments and places.

The logo's pattern celebrates the Oracle Arena ceiling. The strong fabric of the main black color is to represent the team's strength while the blue and yellow honor the franchise's iconic colors. The stripes are an ode to the Run TMC fast-paced teams of the 90s, and the bolt represents the energy of the Warriors of the 2000s. A hidden drop of water is for the Splash Brothers of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, and there's an abstract chart in the bottom left for their six championships.
