Beating the Blazers in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals would be a deathblow in the seven-game series and get the champs one step closer to their fifth consecutive NBA Finals.

On Friday afternoon, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said DeMarcus Cousins could return in the near future and Kevin Durant soon after. If Golden State can secure a Game 3 win, it will be a great service to help get the team rest and plenty of time for both All-Stars to get healthy for a potential championship matchup against either the Toronto Raptors or Milwaukee Bucks.

ROTATION OUTLOOK
Warriors: With Durant out, Kerr has played most of his bench, who has responded. Jordan Bell, who has seen his playing time dwindle this season - finished with 11 points, three rebounds and a block in Game 2.
Draymond Green was also crucial in Game 2, contributing to the Warriors last 16 points of the night, as the team rallied for a late win.
As the Warriors wait for Durant's return, the burden will continue to lay on Curry, who's been fantastic of late, averaging 35.3 points, on 49 percent from the field and 42 percent from 3-point range over his last three games.
Entering Saturday evening, the Warriors are 10-1 against the Blazers in the postseason dating back to 2016.

Blazers: Portland changed its defensive action against the pick-and-roll Thursday night, opting to bring their big man up against the shooter. It didn't make a difference as Curry finished with 37 points on 11-of-22 shooting.
For the Blazers to have any shot against the champs, Lillard, an Oakland native, will need a big game. In four regular-season matchups against the champs, Lillard averaged 28.3 points, 6.5 assists, including 50 percent from beyond the arc.
Portland's biggest problem heading into Game 2 will be its defense. It's starting center Enes Kanter is among the worst defenders in the league and will certainly be targeted by Curry all night.
