The NBA preseason will come to a merciful end for the Warriors on Friday night, as Golden State hosts the Los Angeles Lakers for the fourth time (yes, you read that right) in the exhibition slate.
Steve Kerr’s team has been hobbled by injuries throughout training camp, and will be looking to avoid being swept by the Lakers in the preseason after losing the last three, including a 126-93 blowout loss at Staples Center on Wednesday night.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis both will sit out the preseason finale for LA, while Steph Curry will suit up in what will be a dress rehearsal for next Thursday’s regular-season opener at Chase Center.
