Watch: Poole wows crowd with tricky crossover vs. Wizards

Even on a bad night for the Warriors, Jordan Poole produces highlights.

The 22-year-old guard is having an exceptional month of March, and Sunday’s 123-115 loss to the Washington Wizards marked his 13th straight game with at least 20 points scored. Though it wasn't Poole's typical night when it came to shooting, he still wowed the crowd with his hot handles.

As the Warriors looked to mount a comeback late in the fourth quarter, Poole showed off his ball handling skills with a sneaky crossover which took him right past Washington’s Tomáš Satoranský and Kristaps Porzingis and to the rim for an easy layup. The move was so slick it even elicited a response from the NBC Sports Bay Area broadcast crew.

Poole has been doing it all on the court for the Warriors as of late during his breakout season, from meme-worthy moments to record-breaking performances.

Sunday's latest highlight showed why he’s been so effective in Steph Curry’s absence despite not shooting as well as he normally does. Poole’s 26 points came on just 8-of-25 shooting, and he only made one 3-pointer despite 10 attempts on the night. He went 9 for 11 from the free-throw line.

Following the loss to the Wizards, Poole is now averaging 17.7 points per game. In March, he has averaged 24.6 points, 4.9 assists and 3.4 rebounds through 14 games.

With handles like Poole displayed Sunday, it’s no wonder teammates like Klay Thompson believe the young star has a bright future.
