Whatever is in Steph Curry’s water, we need some of that.
The 32-year-old is playing the “best basketball” of his career even after an already impressive resume. Following the Warriors' 114-91 whipping over the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night, head coach Gregg Popovich gave a little poke at Steph’s greatness.
"[Popovich] told me after the game that he had been considering Steph for the Olympic team, but he said after the way Steph embarrassed him tonight he's no longer in consideration," said Warriors coach Steve Kerr after the game (h/t ESPN’s Nick Friedell).

That’s basically a compliment coming from Pop.
Kerr went on a splendid Steph-approved rant Tuesday night, raving about the six-time All-Star who should be in MVP talks this season. For now, the straw poll says otherwise, but that’s OK.
Curry's teammate Draymond Green also gave glowing reviews. He was the one who said Curry was playing at his best and defying the odds of those who worry when a player blows out more than 30 candles on their birthday cake.
Curry's feeling blessed to be healthy again after missing a big chunk of time during the 2020 season while rehabbing a broken left hand.

This season, Curry's averaging 29.6 points per game -- almost as many (30.1) as his career-best in the 2015-16 season.
