Following a frustrating 2020-21 season, the Warriors are looking to return to the playoffs and re-establish themselves as one of the teams to beat in the Western Conference.
With the Warriors reportedly targeting a late December return for Klay Thompson, Golden State might get the shot-in-the-arm it needs to return to championship form.
Jalen Rose of ESPN's "Jalen & Jacoby" show is high on the Warriors this coming season and discussed how they can navigate their way through the Western Conference.

"They've become the team that says, 'Hey if Klay [Thompson] is healthy,' then they have a puncher's chance, a shooter's chance versus anyone," Rose said on-air. "But also if he's healthy, they want the young players that they drafted to continue to develop and get some value.
"You can probably pair a [James] Wiseman and one of your young players with a [Andrew] Wiggins and now go out and get a more established player to go out and make another run at a ring."
There was plenty of discussion surrounding the Warriors' chances of acquiring another star via trade to pair alongside Thompson, Steph Curry and Draymond Green. Unfortunately for Golden State, nothing has seemed to progress on any of those fronts.
"They do have the Splash Brothers and Steph Curry was top-five in the MVP race last year without Klay," Rose added. "Draymond Green was still one of the elite defenders in the league. They still have Steve Kerr as their head coach. When you look at the other teams (in the West), they just haven't done it."

The Warriors, led by Curry's monstrous performance last season, claimed a spot in the play-in tournament, only to lose to both the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzles, abruptly ending their season.
With the return of Thompson alongside Curry and Green, the Warriors' floor likely will be playoff contention. If the ball bounces their way, though, they just might have a chance at claiming their fourth title in eight years.
