Paul Pierce -- the 2008 NBA Finals MVP with the Boston Celtics -- routinely gets mocked for his NBA predictions.
So perhaps Warriors fans won't like what he said Tuesday about the Dubs on ESPN's "The Jump."
"I really, truly believe they can win a title within the next three years," Pierce said. "Even though we didn't see (Steph) Curry (or) Klay (Thompson) this year. But you gotta admit -- this is probably the best backcourt in all of basketball still.

"If they make the right moves ... they're gonna get a nice draft pick that they can probably parlay into a good player, (or maybe) a very good player. All the infrastructure is in place for them to really build a championship team within the next three years."
So, he's giving himself a little runway (which is smart) in case things don't break right next season.
Until we see what the Warriors do this offseason with the draft and free agency -- and until we get a better sense of the financial ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic -- we really can't forecast much at all.
All we know is that a core of Steph, Klay and Draymond Green is a great place to start.
Clearly, the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year agrees.
