Warriors assistant coach Ron Adams said earlier this month that "the sky's the limit" for Andrew Wiggins.
And on Tuesday, Golden State legend Tim Hardaway, who was a guest with "Bonta, Steiny & Guru" on 95.7 The Game, went on a tangent to praise the No. 1 overall pick from the 2014 NBA Draft.
"[He is] going to help out a lot and do a lot of things that people don't think that he's going to do," Hardaway said. "That was a great trade for the Warriors because Wiggins needed to come to a team where he's third fiddle or fourth fiddle. He doesn't want to be on a team [where] he's one [or] two because that's too much pressure on him. He just wants to play basketball and have fun, and have no pressure on him.
"This is the team to be on to do that, and he's going to excel. He's going to be all right."
Warriors coach Steve Kerr summed it up perfectly shortly after the team acquired Wiggins from the Minnesota Timberwolves in early February.
Steve Kerr on Andrew Wiggins: “Minnesota needed him to be a star. And we’re not asking him to be a star. We’re asking him to play a role on a team that already has some star players.”

The 25-year-old only played alongside Steph Curry once (March 5 against the Toronto Raptors), and we got a glimpse of the potential:
Yeah. It’s gonna be a lot of fun watching Andrew Wiggins do this a lot next season with Steph and Klay opening up these lanes ... pic.twitter.com/fCV13k3v2i

Andrew Wiggins from deep last night:

-1-for-2 on “open” 3s
-2-for-7 on “wide open” 3s

Andrew Wiggins averaged 4.7 3-point attempts his first nine games in a Warriors uniform. Steph Curry returns, and Wiggins goes 3-for-9 from deep (and most of them were open or wide open ...)

Steph, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green definitely will make Wiggins better, and allow him to settle into a role that suits him.

There could be some growing pains, and it probably will take some time to get the chemistry right. But the fit is there, and it will be fun to watch the development process.
