Why Mannion says every game with Warriors is ‘super fun'

It sounds like Steph Curry very well could miss both of the Warriors' games vs. the Memphis Grizzlies this weekend.

If that is how things play out, Nico Mannion will be thrust into an even bigger role.

And it certainly won't be easy going against Grizzlies young star Ja Morant.

"Every night is a new challenge, a new experience, new moments to learn and grow," Mannion told the media after shootaround Friday. "[Morant is an] ultra-athletic, electric guard. Just trying to be ready for whatever's thrown my way."

What is it like going against these high-level players on a nightly basis?

"It's honestly really fun," Mannion said. "Every night is so different. There's never any getting comfortable, and that's what it's about. It's fun. You get to see different skills, different guys.

"Being able to be on the floor matched up vs. them ... it's super fun."

Mannion is averaging 7.8 points, 3.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals over the last five games, while shooting 50 percent from deep.
